Your scholarship support sends a strong message. It not only makes a difference for our students financially; it lets them know that someone believes in them and their ability to succeed.

Creating a named scholarship through the Black Hawk College Foundation is one way you can assist students and leave a legacy to the College. It can also be a meaningful way to honor family and friends.

Simply determine if you wish to establish an annual scholarship or an endowed scholarship. We request that an annual scholarship be established with a minimum gift of $500 and a two year commitment.

Endowed scholarships are designed to be permanent and perpetual and can be created with gifts totaling a minimum of $10,000. The principal of the fund is invested, with only a percentage of the interest being used each year as scholarships.
